I recommend neutral tones like creams, greens, browns, soft pinks, and blues—they tend to photograph beautifully and flatter everyone. Feel free to mix patterns, textures, and shades within the same color palette. (For example, if you're going with green, add in creams, browns, and other green tones.) Try to avoid overly matching outfits—it looks more natural when things coordinate, not copy.
Whatever you wear, comfort is key—you should feel like yourself. Long, flowy dresses add beautiful movement and texture to photos. For men, dark jeans or khakis work well, and kids look great in similar relaxed, coordinated styles.
I like to do sunrise or sunset for family pictures. Times vary depeneding on time of year.
No worries! Sessions are relaxed and kid-led. Some of the best moments happen when things get a little silly or unplanned.
